Reminder: Unite Community Activists Meeting, Th 30 Oct, 7pm

Get involved in this months London-wide Community Activists Meeting! The meeting is held on Thursday 30th October at the Moreland Street regional office (33-37 Moreland Street, EC1V 8BB).
On the agenda are various topics that are of concern for our Communities.

Britain needs a pay rise – thanks for marching

More than 100.000+ people marched on Saturday 18 October to demand a pay rise for British workers. Unite led the way with a sea of red. We sent a strong message that tax cuts for the rich while hard working people are struggling to put food on the table is unacceptable.

We are proud to have taken part in the march with Unite Community Members from Tower Hamlets and to have helped out with volunteering as demo stewards. Thanks to all participants!

The fight for fair pay, a better society and a decent life for everyone – not only the top 1% – will continue!
